Snapdeal has leaked my information to scammers. I am afraid these scammers can break into my online activities and hack my bank account. Since two days I am getting calls and text messages from scammers. I request for a compensation from Snapdeal for leaking my personal details. Below is my email to Snapdeal that I have sent yesterday and even today I received calls and messages from different numbers. Please take strict action. Hi, This is in connection to Order Number 23869900035. Kindly treat this as urgent. Someone called me this morning from Bihar/Jharkhand and he claimed to be a dealer of Snapdeal. He gave me the complete information about the order I made, along with my address and said they are the dealer through which I shall receive this order. He said my mobile number was entered into a lucky draw which has won a Tata Safari Car, and I can either claim the car or the amount of that car by paying them a registration fee of Rs. 2,999 through online banking, Paytm, or debit card. I even receive a sms from them. Request you to find attached the screenshot of that sms. The number from which I received the call is +91 74619 49398. Request you take immediate action against such frauds and I think Snapdeal should take extra care about protecting the data of their customers otherwise how a group of unethical people sitting in some other state have complete details of my order! There can be naive and innocent people who can fall victim to such activity and it becomes a complete responsibility of Snapdeal to protect the identity of their customers.
