Dear Sir, Myself Bubai Mondal, Residing at 23C, Jagannath Ghosh Road,Kasba, Kolkata -700042. In the month of February -2020, I started a policyin Bharti-Axa Life Insurance co.ltd. My policy no. is 502-4016031 for which the premium โ‚น30,000/ per year. I received my policy bond on 12th march-2020. As of a sudden on 15th of march-2020, my father got severe ill and i look him to NRS-Hospital and after checkup Doctor advised to admit him in the hospital as his brain got infection and i had to sign a bond for it. After for this cannot situation of Covid-19 infection my fitness centre where I use to work as a trainer got shutdown due to Lock Down. For this my income has been stopped and I am really in big trouble for which I decided to stop the policy as its not possible for me to continue. On 24th of march-2020, I went to 7 kyd street, branch of Bharti-Axa Life Insurance Co.Ltd. and it was closed for the Lock Down. After that I called at customer care and they told that the office is closed due to Lock Down and when the office reopen I used to visit the nearest branch again with all the original policy bond papers along with a letter. On 7th of april-2020, I started to email at service@bharti-axalife.com on 28th april-2020, I received a email from Bharti-Axa Life Insurance Co.Ltd. and in which in column code-uncode writing as....... Dear Sir, We request you to submit the original policy bond along with a letter duly signed stating the reason for cancellation at the nearest branch once Lock Down complete. We value your association with us and lool forward to consistently servicing your financial protection needs. Regards Bharti-Axa Life Insurance Co.Ltd. As per above mentioned statements on 29th of march-2020, after the Lock Down I went to 7 kyd street branch again and there staff denied to accept my cancellation letter and said that their head office is not given permission to accept it. This cannot be done over here. So you can gone to insurance Ombudsman office and Lodge a complaint there. Sir it is my heartiest request to you that as my office is closed for last 3 months due to Lock Down. I am not getting my salary apart from that due to my father massive illness lots of money is going for his treatment it is impossible for me to continue with this policy. So, I request to you cancel my policy and please do the need full to get back my premium amount. For which I will be highly obliged.
