Maharashtra State Motor Driving Licence No. MH06 19960006630 issued on 23-05-1996 valid till 01-06-2027(NT)authorise to drive LMV(attached). However when the vehicle MH/46AL9972 met with an accident on 23-03-2019 a claim No,I-131ME05D against their policy No. M0996559 (Copy attached) lodged but the Iffco-Tokio Insurance Company rejected the claim on the ground of Driver`s Licence is expired. When approached the RTO at Pen, they have issued a letter stating that the licence is not valid on the date of accident (copy of letter attached). However, they also says the date of issue (23-05-1996 and date of validity (01-06-2027) is mentioned in their record is correct and it was a mistake from their part. Due to RTO office`s negligence our claim is rejected.
